♦ Elder Miller week 22 (1-16-22)

 Bon Siman!

Hello everyone! Hope it's been a great week for you all! I had a sweet one full of little miracles!

This last week I was able to go on two different exchanges! Exchanges are the best! First I went down to the south end of Aruba with Elder Tafisi. He is a stud and we had a lot of success down there. Even ran into a golfer who was more than happy to show me his clubs and his awards. The people here are the best! The next exchange was with Elder Adams who is one of the zone leaders here. We had the car, and we were driving down the street and we waved at a lady about to cross the road. She waved back and came up to the car. She said she recognized us missionaries and we pulled the car over to talk more. She had just moved to Aruba from Colombia and got emotional when she told us she had no friends. We were able to give her a message of hope, and arrange a car to pick her up in the morning for church so she could meet more people. It was a miracle that we didn't go looking for, she came to us. It was so legit.

Our friend Benjamin is getting closer and closer to his baptism! This is a big week for him to get ready for it here at the end of the month. I am so stoked for him! I'll keep you updated on how it goes!

Other than that, I am having a blast! Zone conference is this week which will be so fun to have everyone fly in for the day. Only a few more weeks in this transfer so I am trying to soak it all in because who knows where I might be next!

I was reading the book of Alma this week in The Book of Mormon, and really loved this verse in chapter 26...
15 Yea, they were encircled about with everlasting darkness and destruction; but behold, he has brought them into his everlasting light, yea, into everlasting salvation; and they are encircled about with the matchless bounty of his love; yea, and we have been instruments in his hands of doing this great and marvelous work.
We are all "instruments in his hands". Every week by partaking of the sacrament we are renewing our covenant to bear his name. I may have a tag, but we all wear His name on our hearts! I invite each of you to let the Lord work miracles in your life! Be receptive to his promptings and he will work wonders! Only in and through Him can we find JOY.

Have the best week! Thank you for all your support! Means so much to me!

-Elder Miller
