♦Elder Miller week 25 (2/6/23)

 Moru, Bon Dia!

Hope this last week was great for everyone! I am good and my comp and I are finding the groove here in Noord. Lots of rain this week but a couple really sweet rainbows too.

Oh man, the bikes. Could be worse, but the bikes gave us a run for our money this last week. Between a couple flat tires and some jammed chains, we had a few long walks home. Sometimes having a bike is so nice here taking back road trails and cutting through traffic, but when they cause problems they cause problems for awhile. Gotta love them though.

Sacrament meetings here are crazy! This last week was a fast and testimony meeting and the funniest thing happened. First one of the members got up and gave a Spanish testimony, followed by another member giving a Papiamento testimony, then an announcement was given in English, and then to top it all, one of our Dutch members went up and bore their testimony in Dutch. It keeps things interesting with all the different languages for sure. Makes it interesting on us missionaries though when we have to translate for tourists.

We were able to meet some pretty neat people this week and we are looking forward to teaching them here this coming week!

Other than that, I am doing great! We play a lot of card games with members and always a game or two of dominoes. The people in this area are awesome and I have gotten to love each of them as I've started my mission in this area.

One quick thought as I was reading through 3 Nephi 16 this week in my study of the Book of Mormon:

And then will I gather them in from the four quarters of the earth; and then will I fulfil the covenant which the Father hath made unto all the people of the house of Israel.

Being a missionary it has been so neat to be a part of this gathering here in Aruba. The Lord's work will roll on, and I get a front row seat to it for these two years I have. It has been so neat to see people put in my path, exactly in the Lord's timing. I love being a missionary!

Have a great week! I invite you all to go make someones day this week! Thanks for all you do for me! Love you all!
