How are you all? Hope last week went well! This last week here went quick and we saw so much good! A highlight of the week was seeing our little friend Kevin get baptized! It was so neat to see him all lit up after the baptism! That decision will change his life forever!

I got to go hoop it up again this last week and it was way sweet. It was winner stays on and my team ended up playing almost the entire time. Got a picture with my squad after winning 7 straight! We had a blast and are meeting a lot of people and just having more contacts on the street because they see us at basketball and we are just cool with a lot of the guys there.

This next week we are headed over to Aruba for a zone conference that I am pumped about! Fun to see all the missionaries and past companions. Sometimes these islands feel so small it is nice to island hop and get a mix of scenery (even though Aruba and Bonaire are very similar:).

I don't have much more to report on. Lots of canceled lessons this last week but that led to a lot of finding opportunities! We are still teaching an amazing Haitian family that I am excited about!

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

The point of this life is to overcome this fallen world and become like our Savior, Jesus Christ! So keep overcoming, keep building others up, and turn to Him! He sees you and what you truly want!

 continuing  1/1/23 Response page 103   Jan 1 st Glad you got a fireworks show.  I had brought a bunch of glow in the dark stuff to McCall for the big ring in the new year and totally spaced getting it out- maybe I’ll save it for fourth of July Fasting anytime is hard but on a mission I bet it is especially hard because you can’ t nap away part of it- but where there’s an increase of faith there’s an increase of blessings and I hope you felt good after your day of fasting to consecrate this new year….
