Bon Dia!


How is everyone? Hope last week went well for you! It was a good week here! I'll give a quick run down...

Oh man, early in the week we stopped by a friend's house to teach and he came out and pulled from the bed of his truck like 6 coconuts and said we had to drink these things before we taught. I chugged some coconut water for sure because we were in a rush to get to our next lesson. But its good stuff, I just recommend taking your time with it because man that was a lot.

We have been super busy lately with so many referrals from social media. As a mission we make ads on Facebook, and so many people here in the islands have reached out to us wanting a copy of the Book of Mormon. It has helped us so much to find people to teach!

On Thursday all the missionaries went to the airport to welcome the new senior couple coming to the island! They are the best! They are from Uruguay and only speak Spanish. It will be such a blessing to the branch as they help them split into two. They also give us so much spanish practice which is great too.

A verse in the Book of Mormon really stood out to me this week....
2 Nephi 26:33
33 For none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.

Have you partaken of His 'goodness'. Through living the gospel of Jesus Christ we can find lasting joy in this life! I invite each of us to not let the gospel and teachings of Jesus Christ just influence your life, but let them be who you are! That'll bring about your best self!

 continuing  1/1/23 Response page 103   Jan 1 st Glad you got a fireworks show.  I had brought a bunch of glow in the dark stuff to McCall for the big ring in the new year and totally spaced getting it out- maybe I’ll save it for fourth of July Fasting anytime is hard but on a mission I bet it is especially hard because you can’ t nap away part of it- but where there’s an increase of faith there’s an increase of blessings and I hope you felt good after your day of fasting to consecrate this new year….
