Hope you all are well! Wow, this week was fun with a whole lot to mix it up. We got to host all the missionaries for zone conference this weekend and it was a blast. Led to a pretty quick and neat week!

Since we are the only missionaries in Aruba with a car, we made about a million trips to the airport and to and from the church building for our conferences. It was nice to be with all the Elders though. Lots of new faces in the islands too!

We had a missionary conference at the beginning of the weekend and then a District conference for all the members in the ABC Islands right after. It was neat to be there. A new District Presidency was called and they'll be great. Fingers crossed they'll be the group to transition into a Stake presidency! (Stakes are bigger and with it, we can build a temple out here in the islands!)

So that all led to a pretty fun end of the week that flew by! Just this morning we finished taking the last load of missionaries to the airport. Comes and goes so quick!

I came across a Book of Mormon verse this week that I thought was very applicable to each of us:
2 Nephi 22:4
4 And in that day shall ye say: Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted

As I read this I realized how I can be doing a better job of declaring and making mention of His name more often with the people I come into contact with everyday. And I am a missionary! I want to invite each of you this coming week to share His name more with the people you care about! Tell them how Jesus Christ brings you joy!

 continuing  1/1/23 Response page 103   Jan 1 st Glad you got a fireworks show.  I had brought a bunch of glow in the dark stuff to McCall for the big ring in the new year and totally spaced getting it out- maybe I’ll save it for fourth of July Fasting anytime is hard but on a mission I bet it is especially hard because you can’ t nap away part of it- but where there’s an increase of faith there’s an increase of blessings and I hope you felt good after your day of fasting to consecrate this new year….
