♦Elder Miller week 60 (10-9-23)

Mi ta spera ku boso tur lo tin un siman masha dushi mes!

Hope all is good! How was last week? We had a great finish to the transfer here in Aruba. My comp and I are so stoked because we were able to find four new families to teach this past week! Such a blessing, teaching families is the best!

OK first things first, I want to shout out the rain! For the first time since I have been back in Aruba we finally got a little storm. Cooled it down and I missed having some overcast weather. Fingers crossed another one rolls in this coming week.

Another sweet highlight of the week for me was getting a sports night setup at the branch building here in Oranjestad. So now we have Friday night lights! Lets goo, there are some ballers here in Aruba who've been fun to hoop with.

Transfer news came out and I am staying put here in the middle of the island with the same comp too. Kinda crazy I haven't had the same companion for more than one transfer since my training. We are pumped though to see some friends we are working closely with be baptized this coming month.

As I was in the Book of Mormon this week I loved a verse in the book of 1 Nephi towards the beginning...
1 Nephi 2:20
20 And inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall prosper, and shall be led to a land of promise; yea, even a land which I have prepared for you; yea, a land which is choice above all other lands

Pretty simple and pretty neat. How do you prosper? Are there areas in your life where you wish you would prosper more? The prophet, president Russell M. Nelson just taught us, "Obedience paves the way for a joyful life for you today and a grand, eternal reward tomorrow".

Thanks for all the support from each of you!
