ELder Miller week 69 (12/11/23)
Bon dia tur! This
week flew by! Hope everyone is enjoying the end of the year!
All the missionaries across the islands gathered this week for a zone conference and Christmas celebration. Fun to host everybody and to get some training, always look forward to those meetings. I won't lie though, was kinda pumped when it was all over to not have to make any more missionary airport runs. Our car always seems to win the taxi position:)
Not
too much more to report. We are working hard here in my area, finding lots of
new people to teach which is fun. We are hopeful about a few different baptismal dates for some friends
we are teaching soon! That would be a sweet Christmas gift!
In The Book of Mormon this past week I read a verse I wanted to share...Mosiah 5:13
13 For how knoweth a man the master whom he has not served, and who is a stranger unto him, and is far from the thoughts and intents of his heart?
Sometimes I ask myself if I crossed paths with Jesus today, would I recognize Him? Or would I keep plugging along not thinking much of it. I know that in little ways we can come to know Him better. How often do we take the time in a busy day to stop and remember Christ? Do our goals and desires lead back to Him and wanting to be more like Him? I know its an area I can improve in, and I invite you to do the same! Its one way we can follow the Prophet by 'thinking Celestial'!
Love you all! Thanks for all the prayers! -Elder Miller
