♦ Elder Miller week 71 (12-25-23) Christmas day (2nd Christmas in Aruba)

Bon Pascu na tur!

Hey everyone! Crazy it's here, hope this Christmas finds each of you well! I'll keep this one short...

To spread the light a little this weekend we went to the Hospital and sang Christmas hymns in the halls. It was pretty awesome and a lot of people passed by and loved it.

Last night we were able to go to Midnight Mass at a neat Catholic Chapel here in Aruba. It was a cool experience and fun to see a bunch of people putting Christ first this holiday season.

I got really sick this past week though that threw a wrench in our plans. Its been going around and it seemed to hit me hard, but I'm grateful it is winding down now. That made this week hard. Being sick ever is lame, but as a missionary it is the worst.

Want to close with one of my all time favorite Christ verses from The Book of Mormon...
3 Nephi 9:15
15 Behold, I am Jesus Christ the Son of God. I created the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are. I was with the Father from the beginning. I am in the Father, and the Father in me; and in me hath the Father glorified his name.

I know that Jesus Christ accomplished perfectly everything that was commanded of Him by the Father. I know that He has glorified His name, and that God is pleased and so proud of Him. I testify that if we accomplish what God asks of each of us to in this life, God will welcome us home, just as proud. His love is perfect, and His plan is perfect.

Merry, merry Christmas. So grateful for the Light of the World!

Have a great week!
