Happy Monday! Hope you are all doing well, I don't have too much to report today but here is a little update...

I got to go to the new branch yesterday and it was fun to meet all the members. It is funny to me the entirely different vibe on the south end of the island. I can't even describe it really, just different cultures I guess. They all are awesome, and I look forward to working with them.

A crazy sweet announcement was given yesterday that Elder Soares of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will be coming to Aruba at the end of this month! So legit! He will be holding meetings with the members here in the ABC islands and also rededicating the island to missionary work. It'll be a highlight of my mission for sure!

There is a scripture in the Book of Mormon that has been on my mind a lot lately that I'd love to share...
Alma 5:48
48 I say unto you, that I know of myself that whatsoever I shall say unto you, concerning that which is to come, is true; and I say unto you, that I know that Jesus Christ shall come, yea, the Son, the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, and mercy, and truth. And behold, it is he that cometh to take away the sins of the world, yea, the sins of every man who steadfastly believeth on his name.

I can add my testimony to that of the prophet Alma. I too know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. That He came, and that He will come again. His grace is perfect for them who believe!

 continuing  1/1/23 Response page 103   Jan 1 st Glad you got a fireworks show.  I had brought a bunch of glow in the dark stuff to McCall for the big ring in the new year and totally spaced getting it out- maybe I’ll save it for fourth of July Fasting anytime is hard but on a mission I bet it is especially hard because you can’ t nap away part of it- but where there’s an increase of faith there’s an increase of blessings and I hope you felt good after your day of fasting to consecrate this new year….
