♦ Elder Miller week 83 (3-18-24)

Bon dia! Cómo les va? Hope all is good!


It was a great week of missionary work. We are finding people prepared for the gospel everyday and it is super neat to see. We try our best to be where the people are and God is doing His work. Only one more week of the transfer, nuts.

We had zone conference this week and it was powerful. For the first time since the MTC I was in a room with about 60 Elders. It was special. All the Elders in Guyana and Trinidad were here and we learned a lot about becoming better teachers. Pretty sweet to sing 'Called to Serve' as a big body of missionaries and then go out and apply what we learned.

Flat tire after flat tire this week on the road but we got 'em all out hopefully so this next week should be a breeze.🤞

Thought this was a neat verse in The Book of Mormon this past week...
2 Nephi 9:18
18 But, behold, the righteous, the saints of the Holy One of Israel, they who have believed in the Holy One of Israel, they who have endured the crosses of the world, and despised the shame of it, they shall inherit the kingdom of God, which was prepared for them from the foundation of the world, and their joy shall be full forever.

Keep believing, keep enduring. Heard a neat quote from family awhile ago that there is a mansion in heaven waiting for you, but right now you are being prepared to receive it.

 continuing  1/1/23 Response page 103   Jan 1 st Glad you got a fireworks show.  I had brought a bunch of glow in the dark stuff to McCall for the big ring in the new year and totally spaced getting it out- maybe I’ll save it for fourth of July Fasting anytime is hard but on a mission I bet it is especially hard because you can’ t nap away part of it- but where there’s an increase of faith there’s an increase of blessings and I hope you felt good after your day of fasting to consecrate this new year….
