♦ Elder Miller week 99 (7/8/24)

 Bon siman!

It was a neat week with some pretty unique experiences. Here are a few...

On Tuesday after some time working with the government we were able to go visit a member in the Aruba Penitentiary. It was an experience I'll never forget. A really sad/hard situation but I was glad we could get in and share God's plan of redemption with this member.

We know a guy down in our area who (like many people in Aruba) works up in the Hotels and with tourism. He is in charge of the wildlife at the Hyatt Hotel and he gave us a sweet tour of the grounds this past week. I can see why people call this vacation spot 'paradise'. Breathtaking for sure and fun to see a part of the island that missionary work doesn't often take me.

This scripture in the Book of Mormon really stood out to me this week and I wanted to share it...

Mormon 3:3
3 And I did cry unto this people, but it was in vain; and they did not realize that it was the Lord that had spared them, and granted unto them a chance for repentance...

I have a testimony of how aware God is of each one of us. He knows your name. He knows exactly where you've been and has such big plans for where you can go. I promise you He is in every detail of your life. I invite each of you to take a moment this week when the list of to-dos starts piling up to be still and realize how the Lord is blessing you in that very moment. I know you won't regret it!

Have a great week, stay cool
-Elder Miller
