Elder Miller is MTC bound... airport sendoff

 I'm not sure third time was the charm- it hurt and it was wonderful all at the same time-- mostly I was grateful to feel the hand off from us to the Lord- what a privlildge to make an offering of sacrifice like that. It feels immense!  He's ready- he's emotional-we're emotional- but it's time...lthese goodbyes at home the night before were so tender

Miles made me this noodle necklace when he was in kindergarten.  I've been waiting all this time to wear it for an occasion such as this.  I'll wait another two years to wear it again!

I think this is the most tender picture of all -- it's raw with sacrifice, love, worry, and a proud dad who is trying to keep it together for the big send off.

today was hard! 

I hope goodbyes were the roughest part and that the flight shuttle went smoothly.

You'll never feel the same about the Boise airport again- there will always be tenderness there for you in this memory.  you'll be a flying airport expert, Uctdorf vibes, when you get home with all the traveling you'll do.

 I hope you are loving things so far-- it's probably overwhelming- and I am sure you are busy with all your district and getting settled.

Just a heads up

Lainey's primary teachers in our new ward are the marshalls.  She messaged me today asking me about you.

Her husband was baptized by the MTC president (PRESIDENT PORTER)  years ago... and they are very close still to the Marshalls in our ward

Anyway- she messaged the MTC preidents wife told told them you were coming today so they are looking for you :)  Maybe I'll get a picture out of the deal. I just wanted you to have some backstory and have some idea of who the marshalls are (Lianey's primary teachers in our Spurwing ward)
