♦Elder Miller week 32 (3-27-23)

Bon Siman!

Hey everyone! Hope it was another great week! This last week was crazy for me. We met so many new friends and some families that we are going to start teaching! We put two friends on date for baptism! And to cap it all of our friend Mackenly got baptized on saturday and it was so neat! I am so happy for him! He has had a lot of hard things in his life, and it has been so special to see him prepare to be baptized. His faith inspires me.

I went on the radio this last week! It was in Papiamento and the host was a pretty funny guy. It's called Flamingo 97.1 FM and it was great to be able to talk about what we believe. I don't know how many listeners they get but thought it was pretty neat. They said they would stream General Conference this next weekend which will be so cool.

One morning this week I got to be a part of a beach clean up on the east end of the island. Fun to do service right by the water. There are some people who set it up and volunteers do it once a week. Kinda sad though how much trash is out there, but so good we could help them out. Spotted Flamingos too!

This next week is a little crazy too because we will be flying to Aruba for a zone conference that will be way fun and then getting back to Bonaire just in time for General Conference and that same morning we have to move into a new apartment. It'll be a lot, but should make for a pretty quick week!

General Conference is this weekend! I am so excited! I want to invite you all to watch it! I know that we have prophets and apostles leading and guiding Christ's church today! Their messages are inspired, and if we can go in with open hearts and questions, I know they will be answered. So tune in! https://newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/event/april-2023-general-conference?lang=eng

Have a great week! Thanks for everything you do for me and the people around you! It is all accounted for in God's book!
