♦Elder Miller week 50 (7/31/23)

How is everyone? Crazy July is basically over. Wild. But I hope the month finishes off nice for each of you!

One of the highlights of the week for me was being able to hop on a video call and watch my friend Tito be baptized on Saturday! It was so neat, and I am so excited for his decision to come unto Christ!

This week was busy, busy and we found a lot of success! Lots of service, but the members fed us a ton too! We had a fun branch activity last weekend and the members here are always down for a good laugh. They are the best!

Last week on pday we went to the Ostrich farm so I'll try to add some pics from that. Those are some funky birds. Don't put me in a pen with them. But I got to try an Ostrich burger! Tasted like an expensive hamburger to me, hahah but now I can say I've tried it!

This week we are flying back to Aruba for this transfer's zone conference, so that'll be super fun. It mixes up the week nicely!

I read a verse in the Book of Mormon a few days ago that I wanted to share with all of you!
2 Nephi 27:23
23 For behold, I am God; and I am a God of miracles; and I will show unto the world that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and I work not among the children of men save it be according to their faith.

Isn't that neat? How blessed are we that we have a Heavenly Father who wants to constantly give us so much! If we will put forth our faith, and give the rest to Him, I know you will see miracles! I can testify of this because I have seen it happen out here. Don't forget it! We believe in a God of miracles!

 continuing  1/1/23 Response page 103   Jan 1 st Glad you got a fireworks show.  I had brought a bunch of glow in the dark stuff to McCall for the big ring in the new year and totally spaced getting it out- maybe I’ll save it for fourth of July Fasting anytime is hard but on a mission I bet it is especially hard because you can’ t nap away part of it- but where there’s an increase of faith there’s an increase of blessings and I hope you felt good after your day of fasting to consecrate this new year….
