♦ Elder Miller week 54 (8/28/23)

Bon tardi tur!

Hope you are all doing great! Crazy to me that summer is almost over. I spent my summer here in Curaçao but transfer news just came out and tomorrow morning I am headed back to Aruba! Its been about 7 months and I am excited to go back to the branch I started out in. A new area with a lot of new people to meet!

So with that news I had to say some goodbyes to an awesome branch and some of our friends that I have seen so much good with. Lots of neat memories.

This last week has been hot but at night there have been these huge storm clouds far out that have been crazy. Its been a sweet light show and I just hope it brings some rain.

Between a church open house and a sports night we have seen a lot of new faces coming to the church which has been fun. The basketball boys have kept bringing friends to hoop with us. I'll miss going to do that. But there are games to be played in Aruba too.

I loved a verse this week in my study of the Book of Mormon I wanted to share...
Mormon 8:22
22 For the eternal purposes of the Lord shall roll on, until all his promises shall be fulfilled

Our Heavenly Father's plan for each of us is perfect. What He needs you to go through, He will let you go through so you can become the son or daughter of God He wants you to become. Never doubt it, just trust Him and move forward with faith!

 continuing  1/1/23 Response page 103   Jan 1 st Glad you got a fireworks show.  I had brought a bunch of glow in the dark stuff to McCall for the big ring in the new year and totally spaced getting it out- maybe I’ll save it for fourth of July Fasting anytime is hard but on a mission I bet it is especially hard because you can’ t nap away part of it- but where there’s an increase of faith there’s an increase of blessings and I hope you felt good after your day of fasting to consecrate this new year….
