♦ Elder Miller week 89 (4-29-24)

 Good morning all!

This week was all over the place but we saw a lot of good things happening and this next week is the last of the transfer so we look forward to finishing strong!

We are focusing on a few different friends with baptismal dates for May! It is keeping us busy and keeping the work exciting.

On Saturday we went into Georgetown to the Zoo and did a public service project. We helped repaint different displays around the park and got a free pass to see some pretty unique animals. Was a fun way to mix up the week.

Not too much else to report on. P-days here in Guyana often look like a bunch of Elders getting together to play basketball or volleyball. Fun to be around so many other missionaries.

This scripture stuck out to me this week...
Helaman 14:30
30 And now remember, remember, my brethren, that whosoever perisheth, perisheth unto himself; and whosoever doeth iniquity, doeth it unto himself; for behold, ye are free; ye are permitted to act for yourselves; for behold, God hath given unto you a knowledge and he hath made you free.

Grateful for the gift of agency and every other gift God has given us here in this life. We are so blessed and have endless opportunities to change!

Have a great week!
-Elder Miller
