Thanks for taking time to read these! I am grateful for all the support and prayers!

What a week. Lots of time out among the people trying to find the elect God is preparing. There were ups and downs, but I am looking forward to a new week with some new friends to teach!

This past week was my first full week back in the islands, and man did we get rejected, like so much. It was a grind and frustrating but looking back on it, we sifted through the tough and found some really neat people.

I was grateful for the 'Come Follow Me' study focus for the week. I love the story of Abinadi and his resilience and courage...

It takes me way out of my comfort-zone to call in to someone's home and talk aboubt something as personal as religion or invite someone to change. Even though I don't do so in front of crowds of people or say it as my last words before a wicked king, it most definitely takes courage! I take pride in following the daring example of the prophet Abinadi as a witness of Jesus Christ.

We each face moments everyday where we have to stand up for what we believe, or do something that is not easy. No matter who may or may not be watching, I know God is, and that He always values our courageous efforts and stands behind us every time. That helps me to be brave and I hope it will help you too!

 continuing  1/1/23 Response page 103   Jan 1 st Glad you got a fireworks show.  I had brought a bunch of glow in the dark stuff to McCall for the big ring in the new year and totally spaced getting it out- maybe I’ll save it for fourth of July Fasting anytime is hard but on a mission I bet it is especially hard because you can’ t nap away part of it- but where there’s an increase of faith there’s an increase of blessings and I hope you felt good after your day of fasting to consecrate this new year….
